REM - 2007 Excerpt #1

Scene: Running to the big fight... [2.5 minute excerpt]
This scene in REM is quite a bit longer than this excerpt, more running and Bruce kicks Neo's ass a little bit more but you get the idea. Note that Neo actually references a lot of classic Bruce Lee moves. Unfortunately only 2 of the Matrix movies and only 3 Bruce Lee movies were on during my 4 month production time... By my rules I could only use what I found on television during this period by simply channel surfing and i could not cheat by looking at tv schedules. (I actually came across a number of movies refererencing other movies and i played with that a lot in REM).

Godzilla 2000 (1999), The Breakfast Club (1985), Dirty Harry (1971),The Brain (1988), The Fugitive (1993), Minority Report (2002), Midnight Express (1978), The Matrix (1999), The Chinese Connection (1973), The Matrix: Revolutions (2003), Kung-Fu Hustle (2004), Enter the Dragon (1973), plus two unknown movies from show case that I never got the titles of.

A feature length video mash-up consisting of 170 different sources taken from television during a 4 month period between April 1 & July 31, 2007.
